As the UK's first, and the world's most northernly commercial olive grove, we have taken great pleasure in working with the English Olive Co since their inception in 2024, providing creative support to bring this exciting new brand, venture, and products to life.
Starting with a logo design, we utilised the 'O' of olive and descended letters to suggest the act of pouring. We provided a wider brand identity alongside the new logo, which we then applied to a website for the brand. A range of merch and products were launched soon after, which we photographed and added to the website in the form of an online shop.
Whilst our designs progressed, over 18,000 olive trees were planted, consisting of variants from Northern Italy that are more used to withstanding the cold, wet and occasionally frosty conditions here in the UK. Now, around one year on, the first olives have now been harvested, with a limited first run of olive oil in production.
It's a story that is generating a great deal of interest, featuring on BBC2’s Countryfile, across a range of national press, and with retailers from around the world already on waiting lists to stock the brand’s growing (quite literally) range of products. We can’t wait to see what comes next!
