Project: Brand Identity Design Proposal
Ripple is a clean energy ownership platform. It enables part ownership of onshore wind farms to supply homes with clean, low cost electricity.
We worked with Ripple in 2018-19 to design their brand identity and provide a range of marketing designs for a successful investment campaign. Our designs for this campaign went on to be selected as a leading example by Seedrs and led to an initial funding round of 114%, raising close to £1m of investment.
For Ripple’s branding, we focused on implementing a recognisable mark: the Ripple wave. The proposal below shows an evolution of this, resulting in a matured version that visualises wind-flow and the letter ‘R’ for added brand impact. The wave icon adapts in scale to accommodate content and an updated colour palette accompanies this to achieve a modernised evolution proposal for a growing brand doing brilliant things.
As part of the initial branding, we provided a suite of treated imagery that brought consistency to the brand, as well as a new website design, social media templates and marketing material containing illustration, imagery and iconography.
These designs showcase our latest evolution of the brand and an updated proposal to Ripple of how previous designs could be modernised into an updated identity within their landscape.
